Our core assets provide services for customers in the Delaware Basin in West Texas and New Mexico, and the DJ Basin in northeastern Colorado, and the Powder River Basin in Northeast Wyoming. Additional assets and investments are located in South Texas, Utah, and Southwest Wyoming.

We’re engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs) and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, recycling, treating and disposing of produced water for our customers. In our capacity as a natural gas processor, we also buy and sell natural gas, NGLs, and condensate on our behalf and our customers under certain gas processing contracts.

Job Summary:

This role offers the opportunity to join a team that is tackling one of the industry’s biggest challenges—produced water—while creating a sustainable water source for an arid region to support local communities and economies.  We’re driving innovation through advanced water treatment technologies and pioneering brine mining techniques to extract valuable metals and minerals, strengthening domestic supply chains. In this role, you will help advance the beneficial reuse of produced water through onsite operations management of our beneficial reuse pilot sites. The Operations Supervisor plays a critical role in fostering a productive and cohesive work environment. By efficiently managing a wide array of responsibilities, this individual ensures the smooth functioning of beneficial reuse operations, supports team members, and contributes to the overall success and growth of the organization.

 

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in an operations management role or similar experience
  • Ability to be in the field 100% of the time
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
  • Strong management skills with ability to manage 15 direct reports and maintain an efficient operation while fostering a strong team culture.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Strong commitment to achieving objectives, good problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented work ethic
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, for analysis and presentation preparation 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Team Management: Manage personnel schedules, personnel issues as they arise, and team morale/culture
  • Site Operation: Manage the operation to maintain high equipment availability with expedited repairs and changes as required by the pilot program
  • Safety Oversight: Ensure compliance with safety protocols, manage safety issues as they arise, and maintain safety processes, procedures, and records.
  • Financial Management: Approve weekly and monthly invoices, manage P-card approvals, and track operating expenses according to the operating budget.
  • Reporting: Track and report performance metrics, operating expenses, and safety performance on a monthly basis or as required.
  • Communication and Leadership: Lead the operating cadence for communication including shift handover, daily team meetings, and monthly project meetings.  Ability to lead site tours, and communicate to all stakeholders about the operation.
  • Vendor and Inventory Management: Build and maintain relationships with vendors, oversee sourcing of equipment and supplies and maintain accurate parts inventory.
  • Training and Development: Ensure SOPs are up-to-date, training is completed in a timely manner and records are properly kept. 
  • Logistics: Coordinate tasks including pickup or shipping and delivery of parts, equipment, and lab samples.  Assist in coordination of site tours for stakeholders.
  • Administrative Tasks: Manage time tracking, expense reports, and other activities as required for efficient operation of the site.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in relevant operations or related field. Additional experience may be considered in place of the degree requirement.

 

Travel Requirements:

  • Onsite management is required for this position. 

 

Work Schedule: 

  • This position will need to be onsite everyday M-F and will work a full day every day.
