Our core assets provide services for customers in the Delaware Basin in West Texas and New Mexico, and the DJ Basin in northeastern Colorado, and the Powder River Basin in Northeast Wyoming. Additional assets and investments are located in South Texas, Utah, and Southwest Wyoming.

We’re engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs) and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, recycling, treating and disposing of produced water for our customers. In our capacity as a natural gas processor, we also buy and sell natural gas, NGLs, and condensate on our behalf and our customers under certain gas processing contracts.

Job Summary

The Recycle Operator assists in the daily operation of water recycling systems by performing routine monitoring, inspections, and basic maintenance. This entry-level position supports system functionality while adhering to safety and environmental regulations. The role requires attention to detail, willingness to learn, and the ability to work under supervision.

 

Responsibilities

· Operate and monitor water treatment processes including filtration units, sedimentation basins, and chemical dosing under supervision.

· Perform daily visual inspections of water recycling facilities and report abnormal conditions to supervisors.

· Record operational data such as water volumes and system parameters accurately.

· Assist with minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment.

· Follow established safety protocols, including proper use of PPE.

· Support the team in maintaining clean, compliant, and safe work environments.

· Participate in training programs to develop operational knowledge and skills.

Qualifications

· 0-2 years of experience in water treatment, oilfield operations, or a related industrial environment preferred.

· Basic understanding of water treatment processes is a plus.

· Ability to follow instructions and work safely in field conditions.

Education

· High school diploma or GED required.

Certifications/Licenses

  • Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.

Travel Requirements

  • The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.

Work Schedule

  • This position utilizes a 7 on, 7 schedule that could require working overtime, weekends, and holidays.
  • WES reserves the right to change employee’s schedule if it is required by operations.
  • Candidate must live within 75 miles of Carlsbad, NM
