Job Summary
Western Midstream is seeking a Senior Safety Advisor to join our Occupational Health & Safety Team in Mentone, TX. This high-impact field leadership role partners directly with operations teams to champion safety initiatives, strengthen collaboration, and ensure operational excellence across our West Texas operations. The successful candidate will be an experienced HSE professional capable of working independently with limited direct oversight, demonstrating sound judgment, initiative, and accountability in the field. Responsibilities
- Lead and support regional HSE programs, compliance processes, and initiatives tied to corporate safety goals.
- Conduct field inspections, audits, and hazard assessments; develop corrective action plans and ensure follow-through.
- Facilitate incident investigations, safety meetings, and corrective action management to drive a learning culture.
- Develop and deliver HSE training to employees and contractors to strengthen competency and accountability.
- Partner with asset leadership to build safety culture norms and foster a prevention-focused workforce.
- Provide regulatory guidance and interpretation on federal, state, and local safety requirements.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a related field OR 10+ years of progressive HSE experience with increasing levels of responsibility, including demonstrated leadership in field safety operations.
- Professional safety certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHST, or equivalent are preferred.
Certifications/Licenses:
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions preventing operation of a company vehicle.
Travel Requirements:
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Work Schedule:
- Hybrid schedule: Monday–Thursday (9-hour days) and Friday (4-hour day).
- Subject to after-hours and on-call responsibilities.
