Job Summary
This position is located in Western Midstream’s Woodlands, TX office supporting clients in Midland, Kermit & Orla, TX. The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) works closely with operations executives and managers to deliver customer-focused HR services and solutions across a geographically dispersed organization. This position recruits and onboards new employees, addresses employee relations and performance matters, and works to ensure effective, compliant HR processes, programs and best practices.
Serving as a role model, the HRBP possesses outstanding professional judgement and discretion, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality at all times. The Human Resources Business Partner is exceptionally organized, demonstrates an innate sense of urgency and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while achieving a reputation for excellence.
Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience in Human Resources
- 5+ years’ experience in HR Business Generalist role
- Ability to maintain Company and employee confidentiality at all times and handle sensitive employee information and protect Company proprietary information in an appropriate manner.
- High level of energy needed for a fast-paced environment where multiple initiatives are happening simultaneously
- Must be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization. Role with interface with executive leadership as well as field personnel.
Responsibilities
- Ability to translate business strategy into human capital initiatives and organization design and advise on organization development
- Coach and train managers & supervisors regarding company policies & procedures and appropriate handling of employee matters.
- Serve as HR partner through full employment lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, LOA, training, termination, exit interviews and the associated HR administration.
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR team to develop solutions
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and compliance related to employees, and partner with legal department as needed/required
- Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation, while assisting in driving improvements to HR policies, practices and processes
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR team to develop solutions
- Reinforce the organization’s core values and behavioral expectations through modeling, communication, and coaching
- Spending time with client groups onsite in Kermit & Orla, TX
Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Grade and salary commensurate with relevant education and experience.
Travel Requirements
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 30%
Work Schedule
This is a hybrid position that will work 9 hours Monday – Thursday and 4 hours on Friday.
