Western Midstream is a master limited partnership formed to own, develop, acquire, and operate midstream assets. We are engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, and disposing of produced water for our customers.

Our core assets provide services for customers in the Delaware Basin in West Texas and New Mexico, and the DJ Basin in northeastern Colorado. Additional assets and investments are located in South Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. 

Job Summary:

Open position for an HSE Analyst for Western Midstream’s Delaware Basin Assets and as a member of the Health, Safety, Environmental & Security Team. This position is located in the Midland, TX office and will support environmental compliance activities within our Delaware Basin (WTX) operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Create, update, and revise work orders, purchase order requisitions, purchase orders, AFEs, and vendor change orders ensuring the information is up to date and filed appropriately.
  • Monitor all related work associated with Remediation (REM) activity type in SAP, other applicable notifications, and make any necessary modifications within the system if needed.
  • Monitor incident folders for new incidents and accurately enter new incident details into incident tracking spreadsheets.
  • Work closely with HSE team to update incident data spreadsheets.
  • File and organize vendor quotes and incident data in the appropriate incident folder for future reference.
  • Work closely with vendors and HSE team regarding invoicing.
  • Work closely with the HSE team on forecast and accrual data.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to resolve purchase requisitions and vendor inquiries.
  • Data tracking, record keeping, and reporting as required by each Environmental Program.
  • Assist HSE team with other compliance activities.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0-3 years’ experience.
  • Basic SAP or equivalent training.

Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently and collaboratively.
  • Strong computer skills required.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Job is primarily office-based with occasional site visits.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

 

Travel Requirements:

The position is office-based, with occasional field site visits.

 

Work Schedule:

This position follows a hybrid schedule, working in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and remotely on Wednesday and Friday. Monday-Thursday are 9 hours and Fridays are 4 hours.
