Western Midstream is a master limited partnership formed to own, develop, acquire, and operate midstream assets. We are engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, and disposing of produced water for our customers.

We operate or own equity interests in assets in the Rocky Mountains, North-central Pennsylvania, and Texas, including approximately 16,000 miles of petroleum and natural gas pipelines and over 100 gathering, treating, and processing facilities.

Job Summary:

In charge of day-to-day administrative support for Midstream Measurement Operations. Maintains gas volume records, meter readings and maintains inventory of equipment. Documents gas volume measurements, failure rates and gas transactions. Processes customer requests. Compiles information requested by customers and submits for review. Assists with developing notifications and testing new systems. Follows company operating procedures, and established operations guidelines. This position is in Midland Texas supporting West Texas asset.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment, support and meet project milestones, and work on multiple projects in conjunction with other requirements
  • Self-starter and motivated learner that is able to work both independently with minimum supervision and within a collective group to support project requirements
  • Experience in the use of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Understanding of SAP required
  • Experience working in oil and gas operations preferred

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to team in Work Order requests, and reports pertaining to these
  • Maintain simple databases, or use spreadsheets to conduct reviews of various data points
  • Maintaining and monitoring schedules in SAP supporting Measurement Teams in West and South Texas
  • Provide administrative support to various departments or individuals as needed to backup department co-workers
  • Scheduling measurement activity performed by Measurement Operations
  • Assist with developing and testing new systems
  • Follow all company procedures and established guidelines

 

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience.

 

Travel Requirements:

The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.

 

Work Schedule:

This position is on a Monday through Friday 40 hours week or modified 9/80 hour per week work schedule.

WES reserves the right to change employees's schedule if it is required by operations.
