Job Summary
The purpose of this role is to implement and adhere to the Company Process Safety Management Program. Administration of the Management of Change (MOC) program, which includes, but is not limited to, change approvals, start-up approvals, development of operating procedures, hazard evaluation, training of personnel on changes, and updating of Process Safety Information

 

Responsibilities:

  • Implementation of and adherence to the Company Process Safety Management Program
  • Administration of the Management of Change (MOC) program which includes, but is not limited to, change approvals, start-up approvals, development of operating procedures, hazard evaluation, training of personnel on changes, and updating of Process Safety Information
  • Maintenance and organization of Process Safety Information (piping & instrumentation drawings, equipment files, cause and effect diagrams, process flow diagrams, material and energy balances, relief valve data, plot plans, etc.)
  • Oversight of Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), which includes facilitating Management of Change PHA reviews, participating in facility wide and Management of Change PHA reviews, execution of recommendations from PHA, preparation activities for PHA, for providing key team members to the review team, and ensuring documentation is available for employees at the facility
  • Facilitation, administration, and documentation of Pre-Start-Up Safety Reviews (PSSR)
  • Coordinate audits and incident investigations
  • Assist Operations with the development and maintenance of Operating Procedures.
  • Coordinating and participating in compliance audits for PSM. This includes tracking recommendations as well as preparing for the audits.
  • Maintenance and administration of the Emergency Planning Program Coordinating the facility PSM training program.
  • Utilize and Maintain internal databases relating to inspections and compliance items
  • Interface with federal and state agencies, i.e., OSHA, EPA, DOT, State Environmental/Safety Agencies, etc. as required.
  • Assist Operations department with ensuring contractor compliance with Company and facility HSE policies and Standards.
  • Assist in preparing compliance manuals as necessary.
  • Assist in auditing contractor HSE performance, policies and Standards. Assist in selection of HSE equipment and vendors.

 

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years’ experience of Process Safety Management (PSM) and/or Risk Management Plan (RMP) within an operating compression, gas processing, LNG, Petrochemical or Refining facility preferred

 

Demonstrate experience in Management Of Change (MOC) implementation, execution and completion

 

Certifications/Licenses

Valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle is required.

 

Travel Requirements

The percentage of travel required for this position is 0-10 %.

 

Work Schedule

This schedule is a 5/40 work schedule. Will support the Southern Region.
