Western Midstream is a master limited partnership formed to own, develop, acquire, and operate midstream assets. We are engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, and disposing of produced water for our customers.

We operate or own equity interests in assets in the Rocky Mountains, North-central Pennsylvania, and Texas, including approximately 16,000 miles of petroleum and natural gas pipelines and over 100 gathering, treating, and processing facilities.

Job Summary:

Responsible for day-to-day administrative support for Midstream Measurement Operations.  Maintains accurate gas volume records including assisting with collecting missing data, reviewing and ensuring appropriate data edits.  Processes customer requests and dispatch technicians as needed.  Compiles information requested by customers and submits for review.  Document work flows, provide training, assist with developing notifications and testing new systems.  Work with SAP S4 to create PM's, update schedules, create work orders, update equipment, run reports, and verify critical data consistency.   Follows company operating procedures, and established operations guidelines.  This position is based in the DJ Basin Midstream operations area with functional reporting out of the Platteville office until mid-year when the office is expected to be relocated to the Longmont, Colorado office.  

 
Qualifications

  • Five to ten years of experience working in the natural gas gathering and processing or related industries.
  • Experience in the use of computers with proficient use of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Analyze data utilizing Excel.
  • Ability to create and maintain complex reports and document workflow processes.
  • Understanding of applied mathematics and ability to analyze data and produce recommendations to resolve issues or improve processes.
  • Skilled at organization and prioritization of time critical tasks.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in the following software programs:
    • Cygnet and or Ignition
    • FMS and or Autosol
    • FlowCal
    • TestIt
    • RocLink/WinCCU
    • SAP PM
  • Working knowledge of gas and liquid measurement principles, pipeline and compression operations

 

 Responsibilities:

  • Month end closing of measurement reporting systems including answering data editor questions and contacting field technicians.
  • Generating and/or supplement various reports.
  • Updating various databases and spreadsheets.
  • Gathering and organizing missing report data including polling and exporting missing data from measurement.
  • Working with field technicians to investigate and resolve measurement issues.
  • Troubleshooting SCADA communication issues.
  • Train and instruct other team members in proper and efficient use of software systems.
  • Create SAP work orders and PM’s.
  • Maintain and create appropriate SAP equipment hierarchies.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

*Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience.

 

Certifications/Licenses:

Valid US driver’s license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.

 

Travel Requirements:

The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.

Work Schedule:

Standard work schedule is 5/40 or 9/80 Monday-Friday, subject to overtime during month end close.

 

The pay range for this position in Colorado annually is $57,800 - $81,400; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
