Western Midstream is a master limited partnership formed to own, develop, acquire, and operate midstream assets. We are engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, and disposing of produced water for our customers.

We operate or own equity interests in assets in the Rocky Mountains, North-central Pennsylvania, and Texas, including approximately 16,000 miles of petroleum and natural gas pipelines and over 100 gathering, treating, and processing facilities.

Job Summary
This position is located in The Woodlands, Texas and is a member of the West Texas Expenditure Accounting team. Responsibilities include preparation of accounting transactions for PP&E, customer billings, and materials and supplies, along with analysis of prepared financial statements.



  • 1-5 years of relevant experience
  • The ideal candidate will have accounting experience within the energy industry, with working knowledge of SAP
  • Strong analytical and research skills and the ability to produce results under tight deadlines
  • Experience with system implementation/upgrades and related testing/troubleshooting
  • Ability to apply strong attention to detail and multi-task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to interact and use influencing skills effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with external representatives




Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.


This position is not eligible for relocation.


Travel Requirements
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0-5%.


Work Schedule
This position is eligible for the Monday-Thursday 9 hours, Friday 4 hours with alternating weeks working from home and office.
