Job Description:
Wes is hiring a Procurement Specialist to join our team! As the Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for Catalog Management within Ariba. You will drive best practices and provide guidance to end users on how to best utilize the tool. You will also be responsible for gathering data & running reports from the Ariba system & the SAP ERP system.
Qualifications:
- As the Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for Purchase to Pay (P2P) activities performed within Ariba.
- You will drive best practices and provide guidance to end users on how to best utilize the tool.
- You will also be responsible for gathering data & running reports from the Ariba system & the SAP ERP system.
- Provide end user support for the Ariba P2P Buying & Invoicing processes.
- Provide recommendations on opportunities to utilize Ariba contracts to gain proficiencies within procurement operations.
- Initiate and lead continuous improvement initiatives for Procure to Pay activities.
- Add new vendors, catalogs (electronic & CIF) to Ariba.
- Manage, create, and publish Ariba Catalog liaising with Vendors, SAP and internal stakeholders.
- Create and publish Ariba reports.
- Audit supplier order confirmations against Purchase orders for item, delivery date, quantity, ship to and pricing.
- Troubleshoot problems with delivery, price, and quality of material; implement solutions or recommend solutions to appropriate source resolution.
- Communicate issues and resolutions to necessary stakeholders.
- Provide root cause investigation, recommend, and execute corrective actions.
- Participates in projects to implement initiatives; identifies project opportunities; generates ideas and solutions.
- Communicates with related areas to coordinate work.
- May lead work activities of others, coordinating daily activities and providing training, coaching and guidance.
- Run data & Spend reports from SAP ERP system.
- Skillset / Experience bachelor’s degree in relevant area of focus preferably in product related supply chain, procurement, finance, or logistics procurement functions
- Must have expertise with business applications (SAP & Ariba)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with internal customers and external suppliers
- Strong cognitive thinking with analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Teams,)
- Capable of extracting data from company systems and MM modules as required.
- Requirements:
- Must have expertise with business applications (SAP & Ariba), including, but not limited to Ariba Catalog creation and maintenance. Ariba trading relationship maintenance, commodity code mapping.
- Strong computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Teams,)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with internal customers and external suppliers
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
- Capable of extracting data from company systems and MM modules as required.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant area of focus preferably in product related supply chain, procurement, finance, or logistics procurement functions

Travel Requirements:
- The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.
Work Schedule:
- This position follows a hybrid schedule working in the office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and working remote Wednesday and Friday. Monday-Thursday are 9 hours and Fridays are 4 hours.
