Job Summary:
WES seeks a talented Internal Communications Manager to join our Communications team. As a content creator and storyteller, you will play a pivotal role in capturing and showcasing our exciting work through captivating written collateral, cinematic videos, and engaging social media content.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, and social media
- Excellent writing skills required
- Experience with content creation and delivery, including audio podcast, monthly digital newsletters, intranet content, Town Hall presentations, and executive email communications
- Experience managing and maintaining communication tools, specifically WordPress and Sharepoint
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, shifting focus quickly and working dynamically within a fast-paced work environment
- Must have keen attention to detail and be detail-oriented, an excellent proofreader, and have a strong sense of accountability and ownership over their work
- Some creative design experience is preferred
- Proficiency in print / graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Suite)
- Must show examples of work
Responsibilities:
- Develop executive and employee communications, with a heavy emphasis on employee emails
- Create content using podcast, written material, videos, and print materials for various communications outlets, including social media channels, digital signage, and internal and external websites
- Develop the organization’s biannual Town Hall presentation and facilitate review sessions with leadership
- Work with internal and external strategic partners as warranted for video production, photo shoots, written projects, and company initiatives
- Develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives, including concepts and scriptwriting for video projects, that further promote WES’s competitive advantages and corporate culture.
- Actively manage various platforms such as SharePoint, WordPress, AppSpace, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
- Coordinate and conduct video and photography shoots as needed
- Promote the organization’s mission, values, culture, and business achievements for internal and external audiences
Education:
Degree in graphic design, Communications, Marketing, or related field
Travel Requirements:
Minimum travel of 5-15% will be required.
Work Schedule:
This position follows a hybrid schedule, working in the office on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday while working remotely on Wednesday and Friday. Monday-Thursday is 9 hours, and Fridays are 4 hours.
