Job Summary
This position is located in Western Midstream’s Corporate Office in The Woodlands, TX. This Compensation Advisor role will report to the Compensation Director. Leads the analysis and administration of compensation programs.
The Compensation Advisor possesses outstanding professional judgement and discretion, maintaining the highest level of confidentiality at all times. Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience in Compensation
- Ability to maintain Company and employee confidentiality at all times and handle sensitive employee information and protect Company proprietary information in an appropriate manner.
- High level of accuracy and detail required
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required
- Experience in Power BI is a plus
- Must be comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization. Role interface with management consistently and may on occasion interface with executive leadership.
Responsibilities
- Analyze compensation trends and metrics in partnership with HR team to develop solutions
- Reinforces the organization’s core values and behavioral expectations
- Prepares and submits all compensation surveys, both annual and ad-hoc
- Analyzes compensation survey results and provides Director with findings and recommendations for both the annual compensation cycle and special studies
- Leads the annual compensation cycle through Success Factors
- Able to both lead and participate in HR projects
- Ensures HR data integrity by auditing and correcting issues
- Conducts research, gathers, and analyzes data, creates, and maintains reports and develops data-driven recommendations
- May assist with reconciling equity grants and processing equity grants for employees through Fidelity
- May assist with auditing Executive Compensation items such as the annual 10k, Comp Committee materials, and VP/Executive market analysis.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements and compliance related to compensation, and partner with legal department as needed/required
- Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation, while assisting in driving improvements to HR policies, practices and processes
- Provides customer service to HR business partners, Managers, and employees in relation to compensation matters
Education
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. CCP certification is a plus. Grade and salary commensurate with relevant education and experience.
Work Schedule:
- This position will work 9 hours Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday in an office environment and remotely 9 hours on Wednesday and 4 hours on Friday.
