Western Midstream is a master limited partnership formed to own, develop, acquire, and operate midstream assets. We are engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, and disposing of produced water for our customers.

We operate or own equity interests in assets in the Rocky Mountains, North-central Pennsylvania, and Texas, including approximately 16,000 miles of petroleum and natural gas pipelines and over 100 gathering, treating, and processing facilities.

Job Summary:
WES is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst professional to join our Corporate Planning team in the forecasting/budgeting process for our West Texas assets. In your new role, the valuable information you provide will guide senior leaders to make informed business decisions.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of five years of relevant midstream or oil and gas industry experience
  • Accounting, Finance, Commercial, or Engineering experience complementing a background in midstream contracts, planning and analysis
  • Strong working knowledge of gas gathering and processing fundamentals and associated accounting rules
  • Experience utilizing planning software such as Oracle Cloud EPM
  • Capable of performing statistical analysis on large sets of data
  • Enthusiastic team player capable of managing multiple assignments across groups
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel modeling
  • Natural curiosity and willingness to ask questions
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively across group functions and with fellow team members to execute an assignment and achieve your objective
  • Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy on your work product

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly forecasts, variance analysis, and quarterly reports for management reviews
  • Coordinate budget and planning processes, working with Operations, Engineering, and Commercial Development management and staff
  • Support long range planning
  • Ad hoc projects as required

 

Education:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering or Business Administration


Travel Requirements:
The percentage of travel required for this position is – 0 – 10%.


Work Schedule:

This position follows a hybrid schedule working in office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and working remote Wednesday and Friday. Monday-Thursday are 9 hours and Fridays are 4 hours.
