Western Midstream is a master limited partnership formed to own, develop, acquire, and operate midstream assets. We are engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, and disposing of produced water for our customers.

Our core assets provide services for customers in the Delaware Basin in West Texas and New Mexico, and the DJ Basin in northeastern Colorado. Additional assets and investments are located in South Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. 

Job Summary:

Located in The Woodlands, TX, this role supports the HR Business Partner (HRBP) team with data and analytics and provides HR services to clients in the region. The HRBP Analyst works closely with leaders to deliver customer-focused HR solutions across a geographically dispersed organization. Key responsibilities include data & analytics, recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and ensuring effective, compliant HR processes.

 

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • High energy and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple initiatives
  • Adept at building relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Proficient in Excel and ability to interpret data and trends to inform strategic decisions

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare reports and presentations for HR Business Partners and leadership.
  • Audit HR data and correct issues to ensure data integrity
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics to develop solutions with the HR team
  • Support the full employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, leave administration, training, termination, and exit interviews
  • Coach and train managers and supervisors on company policies and employee matters
  • Under HR Manager guidance, advise on organization design and human capital initiatives aligned with business strategy
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and compliance; partner with legal as needed
  • Provide HR policy guidance and help improve HR practices and processes.
  • Reinforce core values and behavioral expectations through communication and coaching

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Grade and salary commensurate with relevant education and experience

 

Travel Requirements:

  • The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10% 
     

Work Schedule:

  • This is a hybrid position that will work 9 hours Monday – Thursday and 4 hours on Friday.
