Our core assets provide services for customers in the Delaware Basin in West Texas and New Mexico, and the DJ Basin in northeastern Colorado, and the Powder River Basin in Northeast Wyoming. Additional assets and investments are located in South Texas, Utah, and Southwest Wyoming.

We’re engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs) and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, recycling, treating and disposing of produced water for our customers. In our capacity as a natural gas processor, we also buy and sell natural gas, NGLs, and condensate on our behalf and our customers under certain gas processing contracts.

Job Summary:

Manager, Enterprise Applications drives the strategic planning, execution and management of our enterprise applications portfolio. This portfolio includes all enterprise application domains - Measurement, Asset Integrity, Commercial, HSE, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Legal and HR.

This role is critical to ensure that our business technology solutions align with our corporate strategy, enhance operational efficiencies and provide competitive advantage. As a key member of IT management team, this position will collaborate closely with other leaders in IT and business units to drive business objectives, optimize application value, and ensure the security and compliance of our application landscape.

In addition to strategic planning and team leadership, this is a technical management role requiring hands‑on engagement in solution design, integration, troubleshooting, and technical decision‑making.

 

Primary Responsibilities and Activities:

  • Strategic leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for enterprise applications that supports our organization’s business goals and objectives. Carry out buy-build-customize analyses and develop plans to operationalize the results. Own, maintain and promote awareness of the application strategic roadmap. Provide technical oversight and directly contribute to architectural decisions and solution designs.
  • Technical hands‑on responsibilities: Act as a senior technical contributor, performing hands‑on work such as troubleshooting complex technical issues that require advanced domain understanding, conducting technical evaluations of platforms, tools, and vendor solutions. Serve as an escalation point for high‑complexity incidents.
  • Leadership of innovation: Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement, while overseeing ongoing implementation of multiple, overlapping large application initiatives.
  • Team leadership and development: Lead, mentor and develop a high-performance team of IT professionals. Foster a culture of innovation, excellence and ongoing improvement.
  • Business engagement: Develop productive relationships with business leaders across our organization to influence how applications can enable new sources of value. Conduct regular surveys of stakeholders’ satisfaction with applications, publish the results and, where necessary, implement action plans to improve satisfaction.
  • Portfolio management: Oversee the management of our enterprise applications portfolio, ensuring it meets current and future business requirements. Evaluate and prioritize objectives based on strategic alignment, return on investment and risk. Perform ongoing buy-build-customization analyses for current and future components of the portfolio. Identify opportunities for system modernization, integration, automation and rationalization (cost out).
  • Operational excellence: Safeguard the reliability, availability and performance of our enterprise applications. Implement best practices for application life cycle management, including development, deployment, maintenance and support. Participate directly in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and remediation of high‑priority issues.
  • Vendor management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and partners. Develop a solid understanding of strategic vendors’ roadmaps and how these will support the company’s business objectives. Directly negotiate with software and services vendors to deliver optimal cost structures.
  • Risk management and compliance: Ensure enterprise applications comply with all relevant laws, regulations and industry standards. Oversee risk management processes to identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with applications and database systems.
  • Budget management: Develop and manage the budget for enterprise applications, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT, with at least five years in a leadership role managing enterprise applications.
  • Demonstrated experience as a technical leader with hands‑on contributions in application management/support, integration, and performance tuning.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale IT programs/projects.
  • Extensive experience with Midstream Oil and Gas application domains.
  • Demonstrated success in vendor and stakeholder management.
  • In-depth knowledge of enterprise application platforms and cloud computing technologies.
  • Ability to use strategic planning to translate business goals into technology solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with executives, stakeholders and teams across the organization, and to influence people to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Understanding of financial principles and ability to manage budgets and optimize costs.
  • Readiness to lead, inspire and develop innovative teams. Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement while demonstrating sound judgment and making timely, effective decisions.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business administration or related experience.

Travel Requirements:

  • The percentage of travel required for this position is 0-10%

Work Schedule:

  • This position follows a hybrid schedule working in office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and working remote Wednesday and Friday. Monday-Thursday are 9 hours and Fridays are 4 hours.
