Western Midstream is a master limited partnership formed to own, develop, acquire, and operate midstream assets. We are engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, and disposing of produced water for our customers.

Our core assets provide services for customers in the Delaware Basin in West Texas and New Mexico, and the DJ Basin in northeastern Colorado. Additional assets and investments are located in South Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. 

Job Summary:

Western Midstream seeks a Business Administrator to join our organization based in The Woodlands, TX office. The position will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the OpenText Enterprise Information Management (EIM) suite of products, as well as, contributing to the efficient operation of the organization's business processes and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Functional planning and documentation management
  • Transmittal monitoring and configuration
  • Project Lifecycle Management, including State Flows, Workflows, Revision Requests, Project Revision Management
  • Report creation and administration using MS Power BI, Excel, or equivalent, Run Web Reports and upload changes to OpenText
  • Extraction of metadata from OpenText
  • Picklist management, including changes to picklist CSV files (automated or manual)
  • Integration set-up and maintenance with external source systems such as Intelex and SAP
  • Bulk Load automation
  • Collaborate with the different teams on role management, perspectives, and role dashboard configuration
  • Administer Migration, Search, and Facet Support
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot OpenText related issues
  • Combination of formal training and hands-on experience in current configuration and design
  • Stay informed about advancements in OpenText technology and recommend improvements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with OpenText ECM Administration and Configuration including Extended ECM for Engineering, Records Management, and Extended ECM for SAP SuccessFactors
  • Preferred experience with extracting data and Web Reports (or heavy MS Power BI / Excel experience), knowledge of CAD Data management (AutoCAD), and xECM for Engineering
  • Prior experience in Oil and Gas, midstream industry or engineering preferred
  • Familiarity with Document Control functions, Project document lifecycle, Revision control, Records Management
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology related field, or equivalent experience. 

        Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience

 

Travel Requirements:

  • Travel will be required up to 10%.

 

Work Schedule:

  • This position will work 9 hours Monday – Thursday and 4 hours on Friday.  The position will, subject to business and customer needs, generally work in the office on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and be remote working from home on Wednesday and Friday.
