Our core assets provide services for customers in the Delaware Basin in West Texas and New Mexico, and the DJ Basin in northeastern Colorado. Additional assets and investments are located in South Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. 

Job Summary
This position is in Western Midstream’s Engineering and Operations team located in The Woodlands, TX. The ROC Specialist will work in the Remote Operations Center control room and be responsible for data entry on compressor runtime, safety/environmental incident reporting, resource dispatching, and assist in call management, including customer notification

 

Qualifications: 

  • One year of experience in oil field production operations 
  • Basic knowledge of oil & gas operations. (Compression, pipelines, SWD, etc.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP PM, Cygnet, Fleetmatics, and I Maps . Ironsight (dispatching applications) is a bonus
  • Good time management, communication and people skills. 
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively across cross functional groups.
    Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job

 

Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to and enforce all applicable company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations
  • Assist in maintaining operational reporting, activity logs, status reports, and safety/environmental incident reporting
  • Daily communication between operators, supervisor, marketing, commercial development and our customer base
  • Generate notifications and\or work orders for resource dispatching
  • Be an active participant in our Health Safety and Environmental culture
  • Accomplish job responsibilities/duties in accordance with WES Core Values

 

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.

 

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.

 
Travel Requirements: 

  • The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.


Work Schedule:

  • This position utilizes 12 hr \ 7 days on, 7 days off schedule.
