Western Midstream is a master limited partnership formed to own, develop, acquire, and operate midstream assets. We are engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, and disposing of produced water for our customers.

Our core assets provide services for customers in the Delaware Basin in West Texas and New Mexico, and the DJ Basin in northeastern Colorado. Additional assets and investments are located in South Texas, Utah, and Wyoming. 

Job Summary:

Western Midstream is seeking a highly organized and proactive Sr. Administrative Assistant to provide dedicated support to assigned VP/SVP(s) and their departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, demonstrate advanced knowledge of administrative procedures, and facilitate efficient workflow for the supported executives. Western Midstream values individuals who can independently manage complex tasks, proactively identify process improvements, and maintain the highest level of confidentiality within a collaborative team environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for diverse administrative and office support for assigned VP/SVP(s) and their department(s)  
  • Maintains calendar of assigned VP/SVP(s) and their department(s) 
  • Manages the planning and logistics of internal and external meetings and events 
  • Assists with travel arrangements and accommodations 
  • Manages electronic and hard copy documents 
  • Prepares expense reports, documents, and other communications 
  • Designs and generates reports and presentations 
  • Processes invoices  
  • Completes other business tasks as assigned 

 

Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of experience
  • Preserves a high level of confidentiality  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and report generation  
  • Possesses advanced knowledge of departmental operations and procedures 
  • Follows and develops procedures  
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment 
  • Proactively seeks to increase own knowledge and contributions 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills  
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex issues and tasks 
  • Identifies and implements process improvement opportunities  
  • Prioritizes tasks based on potential impact within the function or department 

 

Education:

  • High school diploma required, some college or equivalent work experience preferred

 

Travel Requirements:

  • The percentage of travel required for this position is less than 5%

 

Work Schedule:

  • This position follows a hybrid schedule working in office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and working remote Wednesday and Friday. Monday-Thursday are 9 hours and Fridays are 4 hours.
