Our core assets provide services for customers in the Delaware Basin in West Texas and New Mexico, and the DJ Basin in northeastern Colorado, and the Powder River Basin in Northeast Wyoming. Additional assets and investments are located in South Texas, Utah, and Southwest Wyoming.

We’re engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs) and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, recycling, treating and disposing of produced water for our customers. In our capacity as a natural gas processor, we also buy and sell natural gas, NGLs, and condensate on our behalf and our customers under certain gas processing contracts.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced IT Administrator with a diverse skillset to join our team in The Woodlands, TX. In this hands-on role, you will be at the heart of managing digital identity workflows and technology across our organization, including both on-premises IT & OT systems and cloud workloads. What You’ll Bring:

  • Hands-on experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting identity management systems such as Sailpoint, Saviynt, or Microsoft Entra Identity Governance
  • Application of zero-trust security controls using Microsoft Entra ID Conditional Access and Intune
  • Knowledge of system configuration and management tools for Windows Servers, RedHat Linux, Active Directory, Office 365, & Microsoft Azure
  • Experience managing Microsoft Active Directory, Certificate Services, and Entra ID
  • Scripting/development experience with Microsoft tools and APIs
  • Knowledge of both modern and legacy identity protocols such as SAML 2.0, OIDC, OAuth 2.0, WS-Fed, SCIM, FIDO2, Kerberos, NTLM, etc.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems like SAP SuccessFactors and SAP FieldGlass
  • Understanding of digital identity within OT environments
  • Proficiency in managing server infrastructure and privileged access technology
  • 3+ years of experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, or other regulated industries
  • Exceptional people skills and a customer service mindset
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Understanding of regulatory controls (TSA SD, SOX, etc.) and their impact on IT operations
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally to other WES locations

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead IAM activities within a hybrid cloud infrastructure and IT/OT environments, migrating legacy on-prem tooling to modern cloud-based platforms
  • Contribute to IT infrastructure and system management initiatives
  • Support implementation of cybersecurity and audit controls
  • Develop and maintain user lifecycle processes and documentation
  • Enhance the security posture of identity systems
  • Drive innovation by adopting new technologies and protocols
  • Support data integration with systems like SAP SuccessFactors and ServiceNow
  • Foster positive working relationships with field employees and site operations
  • Collaborate with IT groups to stay current on changes, initiatives, and experiences across the enterprise

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis, a related study, or equivalent experience
  • Professional or industry certifications are desirable: CISSP, CIAM, CISM, CCSP, etc.

Travel Requirements:

  • Minimum travel of 10-25% will be required.

Work Schedule:

  • This position will work 9 hours Monday – Thursday and 4 hours on Friday. The position will work a hybrid schedule. Some flexibility to work off-hours maintenance as required.
