Western Midstream is a master limited partnership formed to own, develop, acquire, and operate midstream assets. We are engaged in the business of gathering, compressing, treating, processing, and transporting natural gas; gathering, stabilizing, and transporting condensate, natural gas liquids (NGLs), and crude oil; and gathering, transporting, and disposing of produced water for our customers.

We operate or own equity interests in assets in the Rocky Mountains, North-central Pennsylvania, and Texas, including approximately 16,000 miles of petroleum and natural gas pipelines and over 100 gathering, treating, and processing facilities.

TOC Specialist  – Delaware Basin Midstream Operations

 

Job Summary
•    This position is in the Delaware Basin as a member of the Midstream Operations team in The Woodlands, TX.   The Tactical Operations Center (TOC) Specialist will work both independently and within a team environment to maintain operational reporting, as well as, any safety/environmental incident reporting as required. This position will also monitor and document compression equipment and downtime within our DBM.

Qualifications 
 The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications:
•    One year of experience in oil field production operations
•    Basic knowledge of oil & gas operations. (Compression, pipelines, SWD, etc.)
•    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP PM, Cygnet, Fleetmatics, and I Maps.
•    Good time management, communication and people skills.
•    Ability to multitask and communicate effectively across cross functional groups.
•    Perform various other duties assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job

 

Responsibilities
•    Adhere to and enforce all applicable company, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations.
•    Assist in maintaining operational reporting, activity logs and status reports, and any safety/environmental incident reporting.
•    Daily communication between operators, supervisor, Marketing and Commercial development.
•    Be an active participant our Health Safety and Environmental culture.
•    Accomplish job responsibilities/duties in accordance with WES Core Values.


Education
 High School diploma or equivalent is required.


Certifications/Licenses
Candidate must possess a valid driver’s license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.

 

Relocation
This position is not eligible for relocation.  

Travel Requirements
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%.


Work Schedule

This position utilizes a 7 & 7 schedule that will require working overtime, weekends, and holidays. WES retains the right to change and set schedules – should future business needs require it.
