Talent Management Advisor
Job Summary:
This position is located in Western Midstream’s Corporate Office in The Woodlands, TX and will report to the Talent Management Director. Western Midstream is transforming to achieve even greater growth and has a deep commitment to the engagement and development of our employees. As a key player on the Talent Management team, this role will design key strategic talent, performance, and leadership development initiatives and resources to promote organizational, personal, and professional growth, in alignment with our mission and core values.
We are looking for a hands-on, inclusive, and collaborative advisor, who is passionate about learning and enjoys designing fit-for-purpose strategies and leadership programs. Key responsibilities of this role are, but not limited to, leadership development and training, coaching, performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning support.
Qualifications:
- 8 years or more of relevant experience with bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated ability to design and apply talent processes and solutions that support strategic business objectives.
- Strong knowledge of leadership development theories, models, and best practices.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the company with cooperation, trust, and respect.
- Passionate and dynamic with the ability to produce results.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and facilitations skills.
- Ability to think strategically and act tactically.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proven coaching skills.
- Experience with SuccessFactors preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with WES’ Leadership team to develop and execute a comprehensive leadership development strategy aligned with the organization's mission, vision, values, and goals.
- Design and implement programs, initiatives, and tools to develop and enhance leadership capabilities.
- Facilitate and deliver leadership development sessions, training, and workshops.
- Maintain project plans and timelines to ensure alignment and drive program implementation.
- Create and deliver professional program communications (emails, PowerPoint presentations, quick reference guides, etc.)
- Evaluate the effectiveness of leadership programs and make improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
- Track and analyze leadership development metrics to identify trends and measure the impact of programs and initiatives.
- Manage and suggest enhancements to annual performance management and talent review processes.
- Serve as technical advisor and subject matter expert for leadership development initiatives while sharing best practices.
- Work collaboratively with other COEs to produce programs and solutions that are relevant to the organization.
- Support Succession Planning processes, as needed.
- Lead and/or participate in special projects, as assigned.
Education:
8 or more years relevant experience with bachelor’s degree.
12 or more years of relevant experience without bachelor’s degree.
Relocation:
This position is not eligible for relocation
Travel Requirements:
The percentage of travel required for this position is 10-20%
Work Schedule:
This position follows a hybrid schedule working in office Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and working remote Wednesday and Friday. Monday-Thursday are 9 hours and Fridays are 4 hours.
